The month of August was even busier than usual, with the launch of two boats in quick succession.
As already mentioned, the Catalyst GT then, a few short days later, it was Te Whara V’s turn. Of course, there was a whole lot of work that had to be completed before the launch could happen.

In our last newsletter, we left off with the exterior fairing underway….
…. and once finished, undercoating can start. This is the first coat being applied

Post-curing: We build a temporary oven over the whole boat, warm it to about 50 degrees Celsius and hold it there for about ten hours. This ensures that all resin, filler and undercoats are fully stabilized before final finish coats are applied
