24m Ketch-rigged Blue Water Cruiser

Lloyd Stevenson Boatbuilders are proud to announce work has begun on a 24m ketch-rigged blue water cruiser known as H239, from the drawing board of Arnaud Yacht Design. Intended for long distance sailing to remote locations and high latitudes, the vessel is self-supporting and practical, whilst allowing a good level of comfort and performance, and great safety for a live-aboard owner sailing mostly short-handed.  Construction is in 6-skin, 50mm thick, cold-moulded Alaskan yellow cedar. LOA: 23.9m, DWL: 22 m, Beam: 5.60 m, Draft: 3.80 m, Displacement: 50 tonnes.

Beneteau 51 transformation

An unique project for LSB, this Beneteau Oceanis 51 is undergoing a transformation from a traditional diesel engine, into a hybrid electric engine, with a new solar equipped hardtop added for power generation.

Catalyst 45

Previously of Salthouse Boats, the ever-popular Catalyst 45 design has received a new home in 2020 here at Lloyd Stevenson Boatbuilders. Mostly used as America’s Cup chase boats, this versatile design will be customised as a support tender to a 125’ Swan race yacht. Due for launch November 2020.

18m Mid Pilothouse Elite

With a slight gap in the workflow before the 24m Ketch kicked off, LSB started work on an 18m spec Elite. Work will stop once the hull is completed. Leaving the new owner to decide on layout, look and spec. Building the hull has shortened the build time significantly without compromising the custom built experience. LSB is taking expressions of interest in either a partnership or outright purchase. Contact Luke today 021 382 552.
