The Catalyst GT has been launched and is now on ship heading home.
We managed to have a reasonably large window for sea trials and collected some great performance data. From a standing start, push the throttles all the way to the stops and you hit 30 knots in 8 seconds and her top speed of 51.5 knots in 17.5. Best cruise is between 25 and 30 knots, giving you between 450 and 500 nautical miles of range.
Her handling is outstanding. Full lock cornering at 40 knots is not a problem and charging into a 25-knot headwind and 1m chop at 50 knots, she lapped it up.
