This 55 foot all carbon cruiser-racer yacht is from the drawing board of Botin Carkeek Yacht Design. The hull and deck shells, along with all internal structural members, are in carbon fibre and foam cores infused with epoxy resins. Strict quality controls were utilized to ensure all components were built to specified weight targets.
With technology that was cutting-edge for her day, Equilibrium is fitted with a hydraulic lifting keel, electric winches and a retractable bow thruster and was an early adopter of the C-Zone electrical management system.
The interior is clean and sleek(in a nod to her racing intent) without compromising comfort and fully equipped as you would expect a boat of this calibre to be.

From our full carbon, lightweight sport fisher motor yacht with the latest in marine electronics and fuel-efficient IPS propulsion system to our exceptional 23.9m expedition ketch, constructed with six layers of cold moulded, longitudinal and diagonal planked yellow cedar combined with lightweight composites. A boat building tour de force, utilising our traditional wooden and composite construction expertise.
