Calling all quality craftspeople. LSB has numerous exciting new build projects in 2022 and 2023 including an 18-metre sports fisher, a 18m Mid-Pilothouse Elite, a 14m Catalyst Chase Boat and the ongoing construction of a traditional 24-metre cold moulded, timber sailing ketch. Custom builds like these don't come along every day, and we are looking for capable boatbuilders experienced with wood and composite construction to join a very special team that are world renowned for producing high-end custom vessels that stand the test of time.

Lloyd Stevenson Boatbuilders Ltd specialises in the construction of custom built composite and timber vessels, and have handcrafted a diverse portfolio of high value sailing and motor yachts for discerning clients since the mid 1980's.

We currently have an opportunity available for an enthusiastic, hard worker to join our team and undertake a Boatbuilding Apprenticeship.

This is not a role for the faint-hearted....We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to put in the hard yards to achieve results and work towards a world-wide recognised qualification in Boatbuilding.

To be considered for this role, you'll need to have:
• Level 2 NCEA or equivalent
• Taken trade related subjects at school eg. workshop technology, maths
   or technical drawing
• A high level of physical fitness and be comfortable with heights and working
   in confined spaces
• An honest and reliable work ethic
• Clear communication skills - written and verbal
