LSB has numerous exciting new build projects in 2022 and 2023 including an 18-metre sports fisher, a 18m Mid-Pilothouse Elite, a 14m Catalyst Chase Boat and the ongoing construction of a traditional 24-metre cold moulded, timber sailing ketch. Ideal skills for this roll:
• Marine Systems Engineering or related engineering experience (preferably within NZ)
• Range of experience with installations of different engine packages
• Experience with installation of boat systems and general plumbing
• Boatbuilding skills also advantageous
• Mature attitude with commitment to high standards
• Stability, integrity, initiative - key qualities for our employees

We currently have an opportunity available for an enthusiastic, hard worker to join our team and undertake a Boatbuilding Apprenticeship.

This is not a role for the faint-hearted....We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to put in the hard yards to achieve results and work towards a world-wide recognised qualification in Boatbuilding.

To be considered for this role, you'll need to have:
• Level 2 NCEA or equivalent
• Taken trade related subjects at school eg. workshop technology, maths
   or technical drawing
• A high level of physical fitness and be comfortable with heights and working
   in confined spaces
• An honest and reliable work ethic
• Clear communication skills - written and verbal
