Completed to Lloyd Stevenson Boatbuilders’ usual high standards, everything on a Catalyst can be customised to meet our client’s specifications - from the hull (ranging from 11.5m to 18m), to the superstructure - where the original America's Cup chase boat cabin design can be utilised or, in consultation with our in-house design team, a completely custom cabin superstructure can be created, as is the case with the Catalyst GT.
What does that mean when we say a Catalyst can be customised to meet the exact needs of our clients? Do we start with a base boat and then go through the list of options, adding those of interest until you have a boat that is as close to the boat you want as the options will allow?
No! When we say, "Catalysts are custom-built to be exactly the boat our client wants"... that is precisely what we mean. Catalysts are totally custom-built to be exactly the boat our client envisioned.
For example, you know you want a 45-foot Catalyst. That is where we start. From here on, everything is tailored to your exact needs
Here is a short, but by no means complete, list of the many customisations we have discussed with clients:
The Design Process:
Creating the design of your Catalyst is simple. Tell us the main mission profile of the boat: relaxing and water sports, fishing, transport, etc., and what features you want the boat to have, such as a cabin, head, galley, flybridge, game fishing tower, etc. We will then put together a preliminary design as a discussion starter. Then, together, we can refine the design until you have exactly the boat you want and then we will start building it. The design process can be completed in about two weeks.
