With the generous help of Lloyd Stevenson Boatbuilders, 24 year old Tane Tarlton, grandson of the late Kelly Tarlton; marine archaeologist, treasure hunter and founder of Kelly Tarlton's Underwater World, is embarking on his own adventure highlighting the stories of ocean conservationists around New Zealand.
Lloyd and Tracey have donated factory space, materials and labour to the venture, as Tane refits an 8.5m ex-SOLAS lifeboat, turning it into an expedition vessel to circumnavigate New Zealand.
