Frequently Asked Questions:
What does “hull off the mould” mean for my yacht build?
“Hull off the mould” means the basic shape of your yacht has been formed and removed from its mould. This is a major milestone, as it marks the transition from structural construction to fitting bulkheads, cabins, and systems.
What components are installed after the hull is complete?
After the hull is formed, builders install structural elements like ring frames and bulkheads, fair the surfaces for smoothness, fit the cabin, install fuel tanks, and add cockpit and deck details, bringing the yacht closer to launch readiness.
Can I see progress during these construction stages?
Yes. Most custom yacht builders provide updates with photos or videos at key stages like hull completion, cabin installation, and system fitting. This allows owners to follow the build and confirm details before final completion.
