This year the show moved to a new location and a new season. In recent years, early spring was boat show season, but for 2023, it was decided to try a late summer date, March 23rd to the 26th and the venue was Jellicoe Harbour in Downtown Auckland. The weather played ball and the new venue, Jellicoe Harbour, was a great location.
We were pleased with the level of interest from visitors to the show and it was a good opportunity to catch up with our existing LSB family and make some new connections.
We displayed two boats, Antiquity - an 18m Elite Mid Pilothouse and Ace – a Davidson 45 sailboat.
Incidentally, Ace is for sale, so if you are interested in a Lloyd Stevenson built Davidson 45ft cruising yacht in excellent condition, set up for single-handed sailing, check her out in the for-sale section of our website or give us a call and we will organise a viewing for you.
One of the highlights of the show was our traditional opening night party, where we invited all our New Zealand-based owners for drinks and hors d’oeuvres; it was great to catch up with those who attended and hear about their summer boating adventures. As per normal, a great evening was had by all and it was a great way to kick off the show.
