Commissioned by well known and respected Auckland sailor Don Pollock, Ace took shape over two and a half years with significant design and construction input from her owner.

Ace is built in strip planked cedar core, with a carbon rig and Harken deck gear, including electric winches and full carbon rudder and dinghy davits.

With a large interior volume for a 45-footer, Ace is an extremely comfortable and well-behaved cruising yacht. The hard dodger provides good shelter from the elements while the roller furling main and self-tacking jib make her a reasonably lightweight and well performed boat on and off the wind. She can be confidently sailed single-handed in relative comfort.

Featuring two large double cabins with two single bunks. There is seating for 10 adults in the main saloon. The head and shower are forward and of generous proportions. The galley has a full domestic fridge and freezer and a 3 burner gas cooker and oven.
